About Us

Welcome to ShishuVihar School

At ShishuVihar School our focus is on inquiry-based pedagogy where student questioning is encouraged and nurtured. Our teachers do not focus on compartmentalizing education into subject specific baskets, instead look at it holistically and through transdisciplinary units of inquiry. Thus enabling students to appreciate and start seeing the interconnectedness between different subjects.

In a very short time span (we started school in June 2018), we have received very positive feedback from our parents about our teaching pedagogy and we have also been felicitated by Brainfeed magazine as one of the best schools in India.

Our goal over the next couple of years is to be recognized by the wider community as a leader in international education with an engaged student body, a dedicated and skilled faculty, and as a school that provides a highly relevant and rich learning experience for the students within a caring and inclusive environment.

Our vision is to nurture lifelong learners for a growth mindset rooted in Indian ethos, in an environment of cultural diversity and mutual respect, developing them as effective change-makers for a sustainable future

Our Legacy

The name of the trust running our school is Shree KutchhiVisha Oswal Sthanakwasi Jain Mahajan Trust. Shri KVOS Jain Mahajan was established in the year 1873.

The trust has a legacy of over 100 years in the school educational space running different medium schools (english, Hindi, Gujarati) since 1917.

The trust also has a scholarship fund through which it provides assistance to needy and meritorius students. They also run sanatoriums at Deolali and Lonavala called as Aaroghyadhams.

Given the long-standing demand of the community, they commenced work on setting up a state of the art Cambridge ( CAIE ) affiliated International School called  ShishiVihar School . The school commenced operations from June 2018.
